The previous article was explaining a bit about the need of preparing the blog sitemap to ease the work of search engine crawlers. To improve even better the position of your blog into the search engines database a new concept was born some years ago: Search Engine Optimization (SEO). SEO is good if you want to be on top of internet searches but every search engine is having secret algorithms for ranking different sites in internet. SEO gives some general rules to be respected by webmasters but there is no clear receipe on how to be the first in internet searches. For Wordpress users there is an “all in one SEO pack” plugin that can help positioning your blog higher. It can be downloaded and installed directly from Wordpress admin pages.

imugur is my alias for internet. I got this name in 1995 from my uncle who was providing my internet access, at that time through the university he was working with. That time, the access speeds were very slow and I was using a 9600bps modem (Hayes compatible), I don’t even remember the type. Later on (1998) I have changed it with an US Robotics Sportster which was capable of 33600 bps download speed (almost 4 times faster). Few months ago I decided that I need to broaden my spectrum of blog readers so I decided to register the domain imugur.com and share my experience with all internet readers that arrives here. If there is something that I know and I can help, I’ll do my best to help.
